Death of Richard Miller.
Richard Miller died Wednesday morning at the home of his son, Patrick, at Lawrenceville, Ill., to which place he had recently gone on a visit. Last Sunday he suffered an attack of pneumonia. He would have been eighty-one years of age July 1sst[sic]. Mr. Miller was born in Brown county. He is survived by his widow, six sons, John of Joplin, Mo., Frank and Michael of Columbus, Patrick of Lawrenceville, Ill., Dase of Covington, Ind.; and Charles of Franklin, one daughter, Mrs. Samantha Burvill of Terre Haute, and one sister, Mrs. Lucinda Kinney, besides other relatives.
The body will be brought to Franklin this evening on the 5:30 train and will be taken to the home of Charles Milled[sic] on Hurricane street, where the funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Burial at Greenlawn. Friends invited.
