John Millen, the sixteen-year old son of Wm. Millen, of Brown county, committed suicide Monday morning by shooting himself through the heart. The cause of the suicide is said to have been the objections of his father to the attentions paid to a young lady by his son.

The parents of the Millen boy, who committed suicide by shooting himself through the heart at his home near Salt Creek, Brown county, are both lying in a critical condition. The mother is raving crazy, and the father up until Tuesday evening, had been in an un­conscious condition.—
