McWHORTER, Maydru "Maydrew"

Maydru "Maydrew" McWhorter, 69, 
of Martinsville, died at 11:15 
p.m. September 20, 2006, at the 
Swiss Villa Living Center in Vevay, 
Switzerland County, Indiana. Born 
January 21, 1939, in Franklin, 
she was the daughter of the late 
James Leonard and Lillie May (Bell) 
McWhorter. Maydrew loved horses 
and her family.

Survivors include two brothers, 
Jesse Leonard McWhorter of Mar-
tinsville and James P. McWhorter 
of Indianapolis; and a sister, 
Lucille Conner of Franklin. She 
was preceded in death by two 
infant brothers and two infant 
sisters.

The graveside service will be 3 
p.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Cemetery 
in Franklin, Indiana. The Rev. 
Chuck Elston will officiate.
