Amos McKendree south of town aged 35 years, died Thursday night of last week after an illness of but one week of typhoid fever. Hemorrhage of the bowels which set in, caused the short duration of his illness. The funeral occurred Saturday at Pisgah. Deceased left a wife and three small children.
