Death of Mrs. Jacob McClain.
Mrs. Jacob McClain died Friday evening at 5 o’clock at her home on East King street. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. G. M. Smith assisted by Rev. J. M. Duncan, presiding elder, of Indianapolis.
Deceased was born in Trimble county, Ky., March 10, 1818. She was joined in marriage to Jacob McClain, Feb. 9, 1849. Two children survive, Mrs. Mary Palmer, who lives in Kansas, and John A. McClain of Indianapolis.
