DEATH OF WM. C. MAGILL.
William C. Magill, residing in Clark Township [sic] in the Patterson neighborhood died Sunday night, aged sixty-five years. Mr. Magill had been an invalid for four or five years and had been a great sufferer. Deceased was born and raised in Clark Township near his present home. He leaves a wife and three sons. John H. and Ed, who are married, reside near their father’s home. The youngest son lived with the parents.
Mr. Magill was an honest, upright man and most highly respected by all who knew him. He was a cousin of John H. Magill of this city. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the residence, conducted by Rev. Wm. Alexander of New Pisgah church, of which deceased was an elder for many years. Burial at New Pisgah graveyard.

Magill died at about 11 o’clock a. m. on 18 Jun 1900 in Needham Township from asthenia, due to multiple cerebrospinal sclerosis of six years’ duration, contributory complication chronic cystitis, aged sixty-six years, ten months and eight days. He was male, white, married and a farmer, born in Indiana. His parents’ names were unknown, both born in Tennessee. John Magill, Jr. was the informant. William was buried in Johnson County on 20 Jun 1900, E. G. Barnhizer, undertaker.
