Services held for John LuysterFormer Franklin resident John D. Luyster, 84, Indianapolis, died Sunday (29 May 1977) following an illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday (1 Jun 1977) with entombment in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Born Sept. 19,1892, in Johnson county, he was the son of James Blair and Harriet (McCaslin) Luyster. He was married to Het- ty Mathis who preceded him in death. Luyster was a lifetime mem- ber of Franklin Presbyterian Church and a member of Franklin Lodge 107, F. and A.M. He lived in Marion county since 1928. Survivors include a daughter, Janet R. German, Indianapolis; son, D. Blair Luyster, Logans -port; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephewsSubmitted by Lois Johnson
