Miss Laura Love, residing on north Jackson Street, died Sunday night from hasty consumption. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
Note: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index 1882-1920 records on page 121, referencing Book H-17, page 32, that Laura Love, a twenty-two-year-old white female died 1 Jan 1896 in Franklin. Apparently her death was not reported to the Health Department until two weeks after she died and was buried.
