Mrs. Royal Logan Dead.
Mrs. Nancy Jane Logan, wife of the late Royal Logan, died at the home of her son, Ora Logan, in Needham Township Sunday evening at 6:30 o’clock following a six day illness from blood poisoning. Mrs. Logan was 67 years old and was born and spent her entire life in Johnson county. She was born June 11, 1852 and was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Fraker Hemphill. August 23, 1873, she married Royal Logan of the Hurricane neighborhood, who died April 17, 1913, following an illness from paralysis. To Mr. and Mrs. Logan three children were born, one of whom, Clifford, died at the age of 19 years. The other children who survive are Mrs. Etta Wild and Ora Logan. Mrs. Logan was a member of the Rathbone order of the K. of P. lodge at Greenwood and a member of the Community church of the Hurricane Community. The funeral services will be held at the 2nd Mt. Pleasant church Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock, conducted by the Rev. G. C. Chandler. Burial will be in the 2nd Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
