Dorothy May Legan Dorothy May Legan, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at her residence in Flat Rock. She was born June 24, 1924, in Brown County. Her parents were George C. and Gusta (Walker) Coy. She married William Legan. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Greg Coy of Flat Rock; a brother, Ival Coy of Flat Rock; a sister, Ann Drake of Shelby County; three granddaughters; and three great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Coy. She graduated from Flat Rock High School. She was formerly employed by Kennedy Car Liner in Shelby- ville and by L&J Garment Factory in Shelbyville as a seamstress f or more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Columbus and Indiana Farm Bureau. Ann Drake will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Dorothy May Legan Dorothy May Legan, 79, of Flat Rock, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at her home. Born June 24, 1924, in Brown County, she was the daughter of George C. and Gusta (Walker) Coy. She married William Legan and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Greg Coy of Flat Rock; one brother, Ival Coy of Flat Rock; one sister, Ann Drake of Shelby County; three grandchildren, Angela Reynolds of Torrance, Calif., Jen- nifer Coy and Laura Gudgel, both of Seymour; and three great- grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Coy. Mrs. Legan was a longtime Shelby County resident. She formerly lived in the Camp Atterbury area. She had formerly been employed at Kennedy Car Liner and as a seamstress for more than 20 years at L&J Garment Factory. Mrs. Legan was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Columbus and Indiana Farm Bureau. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Ann Drake officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
