==============================
Our Amity correspondent mentions the death of Charles S. Legan, of Nineveh township. In his death the county loses one of its old pioneer citizens. Mr. Legan was born in Henry County, Kentucky, but came with his parents when but three years old to this county settling within a mile of his late home. He leaves a wife and six children, viz: Charles and James Legan, Mrs. Wm. Vest, Mrs. DeCoursey, Mrs. Samuel Harter, all of this county, and Mrs. John F. Kiser of Lebanon.
