John Lang Dies
At Local Hospital
MORGANTOWN, Nov. 8—Death came to John Lang, well known farmer and Shorthorn cattle breeder, in Johnson County Memorial Hospital at 12:15 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon where he had been a patient for three weeks.
The body has been removed to the Flinn Mortuary in Franklin where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 2 to 5 o’clock and in the evening from 7 to 9 o’clock. They are invited to attend the rites.
Mr. Lang was the son of Benton and Amanda Adams Lang and was born in Hensley township Jan. 6, 1879. He attended the schools at Morgantown and was a graduate of the high school here. His entire life had been spent here.
He was married to Dessie Deer at Providence on Dec. 26, 1900.
Like his father before him, Mr. Lang was a breeder of Milking Shorthorn cattle and had taken many prizes at the county and state fairs.
Mr. Lang is survived by his widow and a sister, Mrs. George Boles.
He was a member of the Morgantown Masonic Lodge.
