MRS. ABRAM LAGRANGE
Her Death Occurs at the Home of Her Daughter
Mrs. Abram Lagrange died last Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Banta near Rocklane. She had been in ill health a long time; during the past year she had been at her daughter’s the greater part of the time, having came [sic] from her home in Iowa on account of that country not agreeing with her.
The funeral services were held at Mrs. Banta’s Saturday afternoon by Rev. Miller of Greenwood. The burial was at the Rocklane cemetery. Mrs. Lagrange was about seventy-eight years of age and had spent the greater part of her life in this county. She was a daughter of Cornelius Covert. Her first marriage was with John H. Overstreet and after his death she was united to Abram Lagrange who survives her. She leaves two children, Mrs. Banta and John Overstreet, the latter a prominent farmer and a Republican of Clark township. Mrs. Lagrange was a christian lady and was respected and loved.
