Mrs. Mary Koch, formerly a resident of this city, died Friday night at her home in Edinburg from asthma. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. E. Hawley of the Presbyterian church.

Indiana Marriages, 1780–1992, database, records that when twenty-one-year-old Pauline Koch married twenty-eight-year-old John Rohman on 13 Feb 1884 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, she stated her parents were Henry Koch and Mary Schmidt (citing reference 200, FHL microfilm 382748).
