OBITUARY.
Roy Seaton Kiphart, son of Thomas and Sarah Kiphart, was born August 25, 1884, and departed this life November 2, 1918, at the age of 34 years, 2 months and 8 days.
He was united in marriage to Ellen Kiphart, May 9, 1910 and to this union were born six children, Margaret, William, Elizabeth, George, Roy, Dale and Sylvia, who, with his wife, father, mother and one brother are left to mourn his death; two brothers and two sisters preceding him to the Realms Beyond, one of his sisters dying two weeks ago.
Seaton was a kind husband and loving father, a good neighbor and friend to all. While he never united with any church, he was a firm believer in God and recognized the fact that the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, would cleanse him from all sin and make him a fit subject for the kingdom of Heaven.
He realized his death was at hand and grieved over the fact that his helpless children would be left fatherless, but died believing that God, in his mercy, would protect and care for his little ones. May God hold them in the hollow of his hand and under the shadow of his wing.
