INDIANAPOLIS — Lawrence L. “Larry” King, 74, of Indianapolis, formerly of Edinburgh, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He owned and operated King Electronics in Indianapolis for 45 years, retiring in 1997. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes-Inlow-Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at G. H. Herrman Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis and from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at Barkes-Inlow-Weaver Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Mr. King was born in Edinburgh Oct. 8, 1927, the son of George and Pearl Wells King. He married Frieda M. West Oct. 2, 1949, at Whiteland. She survives.
Also surviving are several cousins.
