Jule Jeffery received word this morning from his cousin, G. W. King south of Edinburg, announcing the death of the latter’s son, Fidy King, which occurred last evening at six o’clock. The funeral will occur Saturday at one o’clock, burial at Edinburg. The deceased’s grandfather was at one time a prominent citizen of Franklin. [His grandfather was George Wasson King, the founder of Franklin.]
