Neles Kincaid
Dies Suddenly
Neles Kincaid, a veteran of World War I, died Thursday morning at 6 o’clock at his home in Bargersville after suffering a heart attack. He had been ill from a heart condition for eight years.
Funeral services are being conducted in the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Albert Lorber, pastor of the Bluff Creek Christian church, in charge of the services. Burial is to take place in the Bluff Creek cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon from 2 until 5 o’clock, that night from 7 to 9 o’clock and on Saturday until time for the services. They are invited to tend the rites.
Came From Peoria
The son of the late John and Nancy Keeling Kincaid, Mr. Kincaid was born Nov. 17, 1896 in Peoria, Ill., and came to Indiana with his family when he was about three years of age. The remainder of his life was spent in the vicinity of Greenwood and Bargersville.
He married Mary Emmaline Park at the Hopewell Manse on Aug. 1, 1919, and eight children were born to them.
Mr. Kincaid had been a farmer and factory worker his entire life.
He was a member of the Bluff Creek Christian church where he was a deacon and was a veteran of World War I.
The eight children survive with the widow and are Jasper D. Kincaid, of Missouri; John W. Kincaid, Mrs. Theora Webb, Neles E. Kincaid, Miss Mary L. Kincaid, Mrs. Almedia Scheckles, Charley P. Kincaid, and Mickey D. Kincaid.
Others remaining are 18 grandchildren, a half-brother, Frank Kincaid, of Indianapolis; and a half-sister, Mrs. Rhoda Copeland, of New Palestine.

RITES ANNOUNCED
FOR NELES KINCAID
Funeral services for Neles Kincaid, a World War I veteran who died Thursday at his home in Bargersville, will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Bluff Creek Christian church.
Burial will be made in the Bluff Creek cemetery. The body is at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and on Saturday until time for the services.
