Miss Cennie [sic] Kerr, of Unionville, Monroe county, died last Saturday after an illness of ten days from typhoid fever. Miss Kerr was born in this county, Nov. 19, 1876, and until about ten years old lived with her parents, W. H. Kerr and wife, in the Union neighborhood. She was a niece of Rachel Mathis, of this city, and related to Uriah Mullikin, Wm. V. Mullikin and others. The Bloomington World says: She was exceedingly popular among her associates, and possessed a bright intellect and lovable disposition. Funeral services were held Sunday.
