John Kerlin died last Saturday evening at five o’clock. His remains were laid at rest in the Hopewell cemetery Sunday afternoon at four o’clock, the pastor of the Presbyterian church at Hopewell conducting the funeral services. Deceased was 77 years old. He leaves three children, James Kerlin, of Kokomo, Mrs. Martha J. Deer and Mrs. Caroline Parris.
