Henry Kemper died Tuesday afternoon at one o’clock at his home three miles north of Franklin. He was in his fifty-ninth year, having come from Oldham county, Ky., when but six months old, and lived continuously on the farm on which his father settled. He was never married. His death was due to typhoid fever with complications of heart trouble. He leaves an estate valued at from $25,000 to $40,000.

J. Henry Kemper died Wednesday of heart trouble. His funeral took at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, at four o’clock, conducted by Prof. C. H. Hall. The large funeral cortege which followed him to his last resting place, showed the high appreciation in which he was held.
