Lella F. Keesling
Lella F. Keesling, 97, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at her residence in Franklin.
She was born March 20, 1905, in Clark Township. Her parents were Virgil and Mary Margaret (Jenner) Richey. She married Homer C. Keesling on March 20, 1932. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Lynda K. Corn of Whiteland; and two grandchildren; C. Todd and Shane Corn, both of Whiteland; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry J. Richey.
She was a 1923 graduate of Clark High School.
She and her husband owned Keesling’s Electric Sales & Service in Franklin from 1932 to 1972.
She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church, Hilltop Evening Group, Fifty-Fives and Franklin Business Women.
The Rev. Jim Ellerbrook will conduct a service at 7 tonight at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time tonight at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
