Resolutions of Sympathy.

Whereas, in his infinite wisdom it has pleased the Supreme Chancellor of the Universe to remove from our midst our late brother, James E. Keesling and

Whereas, the relations long held by our deceased brother with the members of this lodge render it proper that we should place on record our appreciation of his work as a knight and his merit as a man, therefore be it

Resolved, That while we bow hum­bly to the will of Providence, we none the less mourn for our brother who has been called from labor to rest.

Resolved, That in his death Green­wood lodge No. 238 K. of P. has lost a member who was a man among men; who was worthy of every confi­dence; who love the principles of Latia­mism; who practiced its teachings in giving succor to the needy and dis­tressed of the fraternity; one whose life was an example of Pythian Friendship, Charity and Benevolence; whose virtues en­deared him not only to the brethren of the order, but to all who knew him.

Resolved, That the sympathy of the Lodge be extended to his sorrowing parents, brothers and sister in this their sad bereavement, and that we can but express the hope that some time their family will be united where parting will be unknown, and where sorrow never comes to sadden the heart.

Resolved, That a copy of these re­solutions be spread upon the record of this lodge; a copy be given to the fa­mily, and copy be furnished for publi­cation.
