Walter L. Jones

Funeral services for Walter L. Jones, 70 years old, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Glenns Valley.

Mr. Jones, who lived at 2533 Foltz Street, died Friday in St. Francis Hospital.

A native of Tama County, Iowa, Mr. Jones had lived here most of his life. He retired in April after 50 years’ service as a machinist with the Progress Tool & Engineering Com­pany.

Mr. Jones was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bertha C. Jones; three daughters, Mrs. Eugenia Sanders and Mrs. Hazel Bertram, all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Phyllis King of New York; two brothers, Clair Jones of Indianapolis and Clayton Jones of St. Paul, Minn. and six grandchildren.
