Death of Mrs. Western Jones.
Mrs. Western Jones died at her home, corner Home avenue and Monroe street, this city, Monday evening at 8 o’clock, after an illness extending over about two years, of cancer.
Deceased was born in Clark county, this state, in the year 1836, being in her sixty-seventh year at the time of her death. She was twice married, the second marriage being with Mr. Jones, who survives her, in 1872. She was a member of the Christian church and a true Christian lady.
The funeral was held at the Christian church at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Eld. C. R. Hudson. Burial at Greenlawn.
