Rev. B. F. Jones formerly of this place, but late of Rush county, died Tuesday night. His wife died a few days since, her remains are here in the vault, and will both be buried at the same time. They leave five children.

B. F. Jones, of Greenwood, died yesterday of typhoid fever. His wife died about a week ago and is still in the vault at Greenwood.

The remains of the late Rev. B. F. Jones and wife, were both buried in one grave last Saturday at 2 p.m. Sad deaths, leaving six small children without father or mother.

Note: Indiana Marriages, 1780-1992, database, records that Benjamin F. Jones married Dora May Morford on 7 Mar 1894 in Maywood, Marion, Indiana, citing reference 267, FHL microfilm 413540. Dora Morford was Benjamin Jones’ second wife. His first wife and mother of his children was Mary E Church, who he married on 5 Dec 1880 in Johnson County. (Johnson County, Indiana.; Marriage Records 1875 – 1901 Volumn 3, D. A. R., transcribed by Edna Thompson Bice, page 42). Mary died 14 Sep 1892 and was buried in the same plot as Benjamin and Dora.
