Mrs. Ed. J. Johnson, living in the Glade neighborhood, died last Friday. The remains were taken to Morgantown [sic], Saturday, for burial.
Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Certificate and Record of Death, Whiteland, Johnson County, Indiana, page 128 records that Mary B. Johnson died from appendicitis of six days’ duration at about 8 o’clock p. m. on 9 Mar 1900 at her residence in Whiteland, Johnson County, Indiana, aged nineteen years, born in Brown County, Indiana. She was female, white, married and a housewife. Her father’s name was Thomas Steele, her mother’s maiden name was Annie Sisson, both born in Kentucky. She was buried in Brown County, Indiana on 11 Mar 1900, E. G. Barnhizer, undertaker.
