The news of Mary E. Jelleff’s death which occurred at Indianapolis at three o’clock a.m. yesterday morning, while not unlooked for, was a sad message to her numerous friends in this city. Until six years ago, she was a resident of Franklin and her remains will be brought here this [Friday] evening on the first train and be taken to the residence of S. C. Brown, who is a brother-in-law. Burial the next day at Greenlawn cemetery. She leaves a husband and four children who have the profound sympathy of the community in their distress.
