Mrs. Mollie Hurt, aged 58 years, died Tuesday morning at her home on Bluff street. Funeral and burial Thursday morning, conducted by Rev. Jones of Whiteland.
Note: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, page 101, referencing Book H-18, page 39, records that Erma Hurt, a fifty-eight-year-old white female, died 30 Mar 1897 in Greenwood. Another entry also on page 101, but referencing Book 24, page 14, records that Emma Hurt, of the same age as Erma, also died on 30 Mar 1897. No place of death is recorded on the second entry.
