DEATH OF JAMES W. HUNT.
James W. Hunt died Sunday night at eleven o’clock at his home on South Home avenue following a lingering illness from a complication of diseases.
Mr. Hunt was sixty-nine years old and was born in Nineveh township, June 27, 1849. On Sept. 30, 1870 he was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Tyler, who with one daughter, Mrs. Dora Lacy, of Los Angeles, Cal., and one son, Everett Hunt, of Indianapolis, survive. For many years he had been a member of the Nineveh Christian church. He was also a member of the Maccabee lodge.
Twenty-eight years ago, Mr. Hunt moved from Nineveh township to Franklin where he has since made his home. For the past few years he had been employed at the Graham Mfg. Company.
The funeral services were private and were held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. George Rader of Columbus. Burial was at Nineveh.
