Edmon [sic] K. Hosford of this place died Sunday and was buried Tuesday under the auspices of the I. O. O. F. Deceased was a prominent citizen and well respected by all who knew him. A large number of relatives and friends from abroad were in attendance at the funeral.

E. K. Hosford, long a prominent citizen of Edinburg, died Sunday at his home in that city of heart disease. He had been in poor health for several months but was able to be about and the news of his death was a great surprise to the community. Mr. Hosford was postmaster under Cleveland’s former administration and was a candidate for reappointment. He held several positions in his life time at Edinburg and was trustee of Blue River township at one time. The funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock.
