Margaret E. Hollandbeck, 94, passed away February 23, 2011. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born March 21, 1916, in Trafalgar, Indiana to the late Albert and Rachel (Garrison) Thompson. She married Lester Hollandbeck in 1935. He passed away in 1968. She is survived by three sons, Gary and Betty Hollandbeck of Estero, FL; Loyd and Carol of Paris Crossing, IN; and Dale and Beverly Hollandbeck of Morgantown, IN; a brother, Paul Thompson of IL; nine grand- children, and fifteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Hollandbeck, in 1997; three brothers, and two sisters. Margaret was a homemaker. She later worked as a bookkeeper for Bargersville State Bank for 12 years and also was employed by L.S. Ayres Department Store and she worked in the cafeteria at Center Grove School. Margaret was a member of Bargers- ville First Christian Church, where she was an organist for 30 years and was actively involved in Christian Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Home Ec Club and Nightlights. A service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, at Bargersville First Christian Church, 101 East Street, Bargers- ville, IN 46106. Friends may call from 4:00pm-8:00pm Sunday, February 27, at the church. Burial will be at Harris Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jason Hollandbeck Scholarship Fund, in care of Bargersville First Christian Church, P.O. Box 15, Bargersville, IN 46106.
