EDINBURGH — Widdess Henderson, 85, of Amity died at 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 1992, at Homeview Health Center in Franklin.
He was a retired Edinburgh Schools maintenance worker and was a member of Walter’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Henderson was born Dec. 6, 1906, in Johnson County, the son of Widdess and Alma Carter Henderson. He married Bernice E. Robbins Jan. 27, 1927. She died June 24, 1983.
Survivors include a son, James Henderson of Route 5 Franklin, brothers, Marion Henderson of Franklin and William Henderson of Amity; a sister, Mabel Porter of Greenwood; eight grandchidlren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Phillip Henderson.
