EDINBURGH — Funeral for Mary F. Hemphill, 91, of Nashville will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marty Wright officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Hemphill died at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, at Brown County Care Center in Nashville.
A member of Edinburgh First Presbyterian Church, she was former co-owner of Hemphill-Ross DeSoto-Plymouth Dealership and also had been manager of Edinburgh License Branch.
Born in Monroe County April 10, 1906, Mrs. Hemphill was the daughter of William and Lena Westbrook Martin. She married Fred A. Hemphill Jan. 8, 1928. He died July 2, 1972.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Kime of Ocala, Fla., and Mary F. Parker of Columbus; a sister, Dorothy Patterson of Franklin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Pallbearers were Bruce and Brent Parker, Kp Kime and Larry Head.

Mary F. Hemphill, 91, died Wednesday, January 28, 1998, at the Brown County Community Care Center in Salt Creek Park.
She was 91.
She was born April 10, 1906, in Monroe County to William and Lena Westbrook Martin.
She and Fred A. Hemphill were married January 8, 1928. He died July 2, 1972.
Mrs. Hemphill had lived in Edinburgh. She was former co-owner of the Hemphill-Ross DeSoto-Plymouth automobile dealership in that city. She also had managed the Edinburgh License Branch.
She was a member of the Edinburgh First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Kime of Ocala, Florida, and Mary F. Parker of Columbus; a sister, Dorothy Patterson of Franklin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
The Reverend Marty Wright conducted a service Monday, February 2, at the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
Burial was in that community’s Rest Haven Cemetery.
