PROVIDENCE.

Mrs. Louie Haymaker, the good wife of Charles Haymaker, has entered into rest. For several weeks she had suffered greatly from consumption of the lungs. All that skill and kindness could suggest was done for her relief but without avail, and she died Saturday evening at half past eight. Mrs. Haymaker was a good woman and what greater tribute can be written in memory of mortal. Her pleasant ways had made for her a place in the affections of all, and her death is mourned by all who knew her. She leaves behind her the record of a life well spent in good words and deeds. She leaves a little motherless babe and a broken hearted husband. Mrs. Haymaker was a daughter of Chas. Throckmorton, and was born March 10, 1878 [sic]. She was married April 17, 1896, to Chas. Haymaker. She was a member of the M. E. church. The funeral took place at the M. E. church last Sunday at 4 o’clock, and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Bryan Carter. Her remains were laid to rest in the Simpson cemetery. Besides husband and babe she leaves a father, three brothers and five sisters. May the Lord be with you all.
