EDWARD HARSCH
Edward Harsch of rural Nineveh died Saturday at Todd-Aikens Health Center, Franklin, after a lengthy illness. He was 87.
Born Nov. 30, 1901, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Fredrick and Elizabeth (Ohlrogge) Harsch. He graduated from Indiana Business College.
He married Ruby L. Anderson on March 18, 1931, in Nashville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Harsch of Nineveh and Paul Harsch of Beech Grove; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, Danny L. Harsch, and a brother, preceded him in death.
Mr. Harsch drove buses for Brown County schools for 31 years, retiring in 1968. He also was a truck farmer.
He was a member of German Lutheran Church, Indianapolis.
Friends may call until 9 tonight or until the 1 p.m. service Tuesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Morgantown. The Rev. Sam Harrington will officiate. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
