Duke Hamilton, an old and well-known citizen of this city, died on last Friday evening at 8:15 o’clock, after an illness of about ten days duration. Mr. Hamilton was born in 1808 and at the time of his death was in his eighty-fourth year. The funeral occurred on Sunday afternoon at his residence. Services by Elder T. M. Wiles.
