Clyde Raymond Hamilton

Clyde Raymond Hamilton, 75, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at his residence in Franklin.

He was born Sept. 28, 1924, in Nineveh. His parents were Orval and Amanda (Barrett) Hamilton. He married Wanda (Stillabower) Hamilton on Juen 24, 1950. She preceded him in death Jan. 12, 1984. Survivors include two sons, Steve Hamilton and Kelly Hamilton, both of Franklin; a daughter, Brenda Bowling of Franklin; one brother, Leanond Hamilton of Nineveh; a sister, Phyllis Murphy of Kentucky; and one grandson, Daniel Hawk of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Dale Hamilton and Brian Hamilton; and a sister, Nova Phillips.

He graduated from Nineveh High School.

He was a self-employed farmer for 45 years.

He was a member of Union Christian Church and a 50-year member of Nineveh Masonic Lodge 317, F&AM.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

The Rev. Paul Palusko will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Clyde Raymond Hamilton, 75, Franklin, died Jan. 10. He was a farmer 45 years before retiring. Mr. Hamilton was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Union Christian Church in Franklin and a 50-year member of Ninevah Masonic Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association. Services: 10 a.m. Jan. 14 in Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, Franklin, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 13. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin. He was the widower of Wanda Stillabower Hamilton. Survivors: children Brenda Bowling, Steve, Kelly Hamilton brother Leanond Hamilton sister Phyllis Murphy a grandson.
