Wednesday afternoon the little two year old son of Rev. T. A. Hall, pastor of the Christian church in Connersville, was drowned in the old canal in that city. The child had wandered from the house which stood near the canal and had fallen in before its absence was discovered. A search for the child soon revealed the sad accident which had occurred. The father is a son-in-law of J. H. Forsyth of Trafalgar and is well-known to many citizens of this county where he has often preached on stated appointments. The remains were brought here last evening and taken to the residence of A. M. Ragsdale where brief services will be held this morning. Burial at First Mt. Pleasant.
