Welba "Webb" Hadley Welba "Webb" Hadley, 79, of Franklin, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Born Nov. 24, 1921, in Russell Springs, Ky., he was the son of Robert and Anna (Willan) Hadley. He married Sue Jenkins and she survives. Other survivors include one son, Tim Hadley of Edinburgh; two daughters, Judy Franklin of Russell Springs and Tonya Hadley of Franklin; four stepsons, Kevin Crawford and Gerald Crawford, both of Indianapolis, David Craw-ford of Greenwood and Terry Crawford, of Nashville; one sister, Maxine Santee of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; six great-grand- children; and one great-great- granddaughter. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Hadley, Pete Hadley and Elvin Hadley, and two sisters, Betty Rooks and Opal Lee. Mr. Hadley was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a car salesman for Jarvis Alexander and Owen Reed Chevrolet dealership in Franklin from 1955 to 1977 and operator of Webb Hadley Motor Sales in Franklin from 1977 until retiring in 1993. He was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church and Edinburgh American Legion Post 233. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh with the Rev. Marion Glover officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with military rites conducted by Edinburgh American Legion Post No. 233. He had been a car salesman 22 years for Jarvis Alexander and Owen Reed, Franklin. Mr. Hadley was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 233.
