Mrs. Sarah W. Green, wife of Peter Green, died Friday evening at her home on the Greensburg road, southeast of town, aged thirty-seven years. Death was due to consumption. The funeral occurred Sunday morning at eleven o’clock from Mt. Pleasant church.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Union, Johnson County, Indiana records forty-three-year-old, Indiana-born Peter Green and his twenty-two-year-old, Kentucky-born wife Sarah W. Green.
