RUTH GRAY
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. George Eagler at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning for Ruth Gray, 79, native of Edinburgh, who died at 6:00 p.m. last Tuesday at Johnson County Hospital where she had been taken the day before after becoming ill at her home at 605-1/2 South Kyle Street.
Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery with Russell Sallee, Don Miner, Ronnie Arnett and Bill West serving as Pallbearers.
Mrs. Gray was born in Edinburgh April 28, 1901, the daughter of William Alfred and Anna L. Roth Land. She was the widow of Ira Gray who died in 1968.
Mrs. Gray was a member of the Edinburgh Christian Church and the American Legion Auxillary. Survivors include a sister, Clara Middleton, and a brother, Marion Land, both of Edinburgh, and several nieces and nephews.
