Donetta Gorrell, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at Greenwood Health and Living Center. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Columbus. Her father was John Newland. Her mother is Olive (Olmstead) Newland of Columbus. Other survivors include a son, Greg Gorrell of Corpus Christi, Texas; a daughter, Suzanne Copeland of Naples, Fla.; and two sisters, Connie Wood of Las Vegas and Janice Beaman of Columbus.
She was employed by several local restaurants as a cook.
The Rev. Ralph Hill will conduct a graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township. Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel, is handling arrangements.
