Mrs. Clara Goetz Dies At Nineveh
Funeral And Burial Rites Are FridayNINEVEH, April 2 - Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Clara A. Goetz at the Nineveh Christian Church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. G. F. Powers, pastor of the church, will conduct the rites. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the late residence after 10 o’clock Thursday morning, and are invited to attend the services.
Mrs. Goetz died at her home at Nineveh, Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock. She had been ill for some time.
She was born November 9, 1868, in Indiana, the daughter of Dominick and Mary Wedel Kelly. Most of her life had been spent at Nineveh.
On December 25, 1888, she was united in marriage to James Goetz. Two children were born to this union, a son dying in infancy. Mr. Goetz died October 10, 1943.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Cobb; three grandchildren, James Robert Forsythe, John Thomas Cobb and Laura Alice Cobb, all of Nineveh; a brother, John Kelly, of Oklahoma; and a sister, Mrs. William Drybread, of California.
