Archibald Glenn died at his home in the Marion edge of Johnson County on Wednesday night of last week in the same neighborhood in which he was born, November 29, 1826. The post office near the White River township line, that is known as Glenn’s Valley, took its name from Mr. Glenn and at the post office he served as postmaster during the war. In 1853 he was married to Nancy N. Smart, who with seven children, survive him. He lived on the home farm for 27 years and then purchased a farm just across the line in Marion County, where he lived and died.
