Wm. Gillaspy, living near Nineveh, died Thursday of blood poison resulting from erysipelas. He leaves a wife and five children.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Nineveh, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, page 149 records that William E. Gillaspy died at about 9 o’clock a. m. on 21 Jun 1900 in Nineveh from erysipelas of six days’ duration, contributory complication nephritis of forty-eight hours’ duration, aged seventy-five years, three months and sixteen days. He was male, white, married and a farmer, born in Kentucky. His father’s name was William Gillaspy, born in Virginia, and his mother’s name Leah Connel, born in South Carolina. The informant was G. B. Cobb. William was buried in Johnson County on 22 Jun 1900, C. J. McInvain, undertaker.
