Mrs. Jerman [sic], of Urmeyville, died suddenly Friday night of heart failure [sic]. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Boggstown.

Note: Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Urmeyville, Needham Township, Johnson County, Certificate and Record of Death, page 97 records that Sarah Ellen German died at about 6 o’clock p. m. on 27 Apr 1900 at her residence in Johnson County from intussusception [perforation of the bowel], duration eleven hours, aged thirty-eight years. She was female, white, married and a farmer, born in Indiana. Her father’s name was Wane [sic] Hart, born in Tennessee and her mother’s maiden name and birthplace unknown. The informant was J. R. Amos. Sarah was buried in Boggstown on 30 Apr 1900, E. G. Barnhizer, undertaker.
