Carmen (Coy) Freese, 93, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
She was born March 18, 1907, in Brown County. Her parents were Lora and Mina (McKee) Coy. She married Harold Freese. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Frances Mull of Greenwood and Myrna Beth Adams of Evergreen, Colo.; five sons, William L. Freese, Harold D. Freese, Ted C. Freese and Monte L. Freese, all of Indianapolis, and Edgar G. Freese of Nashville; two sisters, Etheleen Voris of Greenwood and Mercedes Park of Nineveh; three brothers, Clifford D. Coy and Lee Coy, both of Edinburgh, and Neil Coy of Taylorsville; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Hansel B. Coy.
She was a homemaker and a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Cleon Wright will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
