Sad Death.
The little seventeen months old son of Frank Fowler and wife, died Tuesday evening from choking to death on a grain of corn. On Monday some time it sucked the grain of corn into its right lung which became located in such a way as to prevent an operation. Inflammation set in and the little fellow suffered intense pain until its sufferings ended about six o’clock Tuesday evening. A few minutes before, it had coughed the grain into its wind pipe. Dr. Payne was present and immediately began a surgical operation to remove it, but death came before this could be completed.
Funeral services were held yesterday at the house at 10 o’clock a.m. conducted by Elder Ashley
