Mrs. Luella M. Foster, wife of Jas. A. Foster, died on the 9th. Aged 26 years. [sic] She was the daughter of Solomon Clemmer and a member of the Christian church since her 15th year. Hers was a beautiful life of Christian faith and trust and her death was correspondingly beautiful and peaceful. Her last words were of her bright hopes, and exhortations to those around her to be Christians. She leaves two little girls, who will sadly miss the mother’s love and care. A funeral discourse was preached at Friendship church by E. L. Frazier, on the 10th and her body was laid in the grave to await the resurrection.
